PRODUCT DETAILS
BOD | Button Output Driver
The XVIA BOD (Button Output Driver) is a sealed, fixed-logic bistable output module that turns a momentary ground trigger into a latched high-side output. Tap once to turn the load on, tap again to turn it off. No configuration, no software, just deterministic behavior that’s easy to wire and easy to troubleshoot.
BOD is designed to simplify harness and button logic while also acting as a compact output expander for additional vehicle systems. Trigger it from a momentary pushbutton, a momentary switch, or a ground output from an ECU or PDM when you’re out of high-side channels.
A dedicated LED Indicator Output mirrors the BOD output state, so you can wire an LED and always know what’s on. On power-up, BOD defaults OFF.
What it does
Tap-on, tap-off power control
How it behaves
Press once = ON, press again = OFF
What it works with
Momentary button or ECU/PDM ground trigger
Good for
Lights, fans, pumps, solenoids
Feedback
LED output mirrors ON/OFF state
Power-up
Starts OFF every time

INTEGRATION NOTES
Multiple momentary inputs can be wired in parallel to the same trigger pin, so you can control a single output from driver, co-driver, and other locations. The high-side output can feed multiple devices in parallel, as long as the combined load stays within 5A total.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Use BOD anywhere you want a simple, reliable latched output controlled by momentary ground triggers.
- Lights, chase lights, dome, scene, dust lights
- Pumps and fans that need manual latch control
- Solenoids and valves (within current limits)
- Auxiliary loads when PDM or ECU outputs are already allocated
- Dual control points (driver and co-driver) on a single function
“Tap on, tap off, and it stays exactly where you left it.”
